Forming character through the insights of literature, contemporary culture and Scripture.
We are a house church, meeting in homes rather than a dedicated building. This is outside the norm, and people are often curious. “So what exactly do you do during your meetings?” It’s a good question.
The components of our worship gatherings are much the same as more traditional faith communities (scripture, singing, a homily, centerpiece, prayers, potlucks), but besides our small size, what makes us unique is our conversational style. This is different from the spectator mentality where the pastor does most of the work. We are free to be ourselves, bringing our doubts, questions and reflections together as we search for God’s life-giving Word for today.
