A Parable Video
It struck me that God’s desire to connect with us, in spite of our rebelliousness, must cause God a lot of suffering and might even tear God apart. In reflecting on this, the short, animated video “Lost and Found” came to mind. The two characters, the dinosaur and the fox, are portrayed as best friends. Their story reflected to me the long-suffering compassion of God in Isaiah. Watch it and try to see it as a parable of God’s love for us, as depicted by both characters.
