Episode Synopsis:
The show moves past the setup to develop the main characters. Justin wakes up from a dream about Danny, in which she has to reckon with her past. The dream flows through the whole episode. Meanwhile Faraday discovers Newton’s recording and is overwhelmed with the sorrow and the despair it reveals. What happened to Newton? Faraday and Justin come to a deeper understanding of each other; their missions are truly intertwined now.
We meet Clive, Edie’s son. True to the family archetype, Clive has…issues. But he gets Hatch, with whom he’s always been close, to the negotiating table. Also at the table is Spencer. Lisa, his new assistant, connected the dots to the clandestine flight that Hatch booked, discovering that Faraday is in England. So Spencer arrives at the Flood manor and throws his CIA weight around.
We also meet Mary Lou and her bees. She knew Newton in Kentucky when she was a young hotel maid. Now she runs a rehab/apiary in the English countryside. She is atoning for her having lead Newton astray. She takes her penance very seriously. Through her Spencer discovers more about Newton’s past, but Mary Lou learns there is another visitor.
