Doubt In Faith

by Arthur Cohen

If Mother Theresa was unsure,

how can my faith be pure?

If Peter thrice denied his love,

what chance is mine when I gaze above?

If Jesus cried out and lost hope,

when will I truly cope?

If Moses lost his command,

and couldn't see the Promised Land,

If Israel always erred,

and still looks to repair,

If suffering is always here,

and answers never near,

Perhaps all we have is doubt,

And trust in God, to work things out.
